Funny. I had been working on my free throws the past week. Had set a goal to hit 10 in-a-row by last Tuesday, and 20 straight by that Friday. It took a week longer to do the 10 (see video) and I anticipate completing the 20 this Friday.

Thought of the day (TOD)
It's August 20, 2009 near Hammond, a time of summer peaking. More talk of going-back-to-school and back-to-football. Later, hoop season reprises its role once again.
But this basketball season will be different than before. Because not only will players play. But some of them--the great ones--will pursue the ultimate prize: to play pro basketball.

Goal
Hi. The object of this blog is to help get young athletes from Hammond, Indiana, and each adjacent town, to the NBA (National Basketball Association). This includes cities of Gary, Whiting, East Chicago, and the towns of Highland and Munster.
On a broader view, am also seeking to benefit young talent around the world.
Why do this? Simple. I grew up on basketball, playing in pickup games, "21", or just toolin' around. Am a bit older now, but I still like it.
